During the Second Age of the Consortium, the Eyes of Munin was an order of precognitive seers, devoted to seeing and relaying future events to those in power which included the Nine High Mages of the Consortium.
They were considered very powerful and their visions taken with deadly seriousness. Their powers were held in such deep respect that they were allowed to interrupt meetings of the Nine High Mages of the Consortium and their predictions wee allowed to change the course of events and even start wars.
The lead member of the order was referred to as The Piercing Eye, leading the other members and pooling their strength into one vision.
